National Central Library（國家圖書館）established the Taiwan Memory（臺灣記憶）to provide people with free and easy access historical documents. However, e-books are only provided as online, page-by-page image viewers, making them inconvenient to read offline, archive, or annotate as a single document. The motivation for this tool is to automate the tedious, error-prone process of manually saving thousands of JPG pages and stitching them into a readable PDF, giving researchers and readers a more usable long-term format.
